Our Process

The process of replacing a roofing is complicated and takes a company with experience and knowledge. Our installation department is highly trained to ensure each customer receives the best service in the industry. Our roofing process is explained in detail below

Tear Off

We will remove the existing shingles. The deck surface, and any other wood, will be inspected and any damaged or rotten wood will be replaced.

The most common problem during the roofing tear off is the amount of debris. We will arrive with a dump truck on the day of the roofing tear off to ensure your home will not be cluttered with debris from the tear off process. We will park on your driveway – not your lawn. Our crew work hard to maintain a clean workspace during and after the tear off process.

Pre-Shingle Inspection

Shingling requires a proper nail surface, once that has been established with decking we will start the install. We will install Ice & Water shield in any valleys, transitions, low-slope roof areas, and all penetrations. We will install synthetic underlayment to the entire roof deck.

Shingle Installation

With most roofing installations we will need to replace metal flashings such as chimney and wall flashings …so these will be done in conjunction with the shingle install. The shingle installation starts at the eves and our crews work their way up the ridge. We recommend a filtered concealed, or shingle-over, ridge vent which allows for the maximum attic exhaust. Keep in mind, shingles are only one part of a roof, that is why we call it a system – all of the pieces put together make a roof last the life of the warranty.
